Gary Green is a 6th Dan Black Belt Taekwondo Master with the NSW Taekwondo Association and also an accredited martial arts instructor through the Martial Arts Industry Association (MAIA). Gary was the NSW Black Belt heavyweight champion for two years running in 1998 and 1989, who went on to make the Australian Taekwondo team.

Taekwondo is a Korean martial art whose roots spread back nearly 2,000 years when it was used to defend Korea against invaders and to entertain royalty. Since then it has evolved into more than self-defense. Taekwondo is the national sport of Korea and became an official Olympic sport at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. It is also more than a sport...it is truly a way of life!

You get much more out of learning Taekwondo than the ability to defend yourself. The training instills a mental and physical discipline and the formation of a noble moral character. Taekwondo's tenets (Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-control, Loyalty & an Indomitable Spirit) are philosophies of life.

Gary has been acknowledged by the head of Taekwondo in Australia (9th Dan Grand Master Sungsoo Lee) as having made a great contribution to the sport.
